If so, we're looking for an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our team! This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated accounting professional who wants to make a direct impact on the financial success of a growing operation.
As our AP Supervisor, you'll be the driving force behind the day-to-day Accounts Payable function, ensuring invoices are processed accurately, vendors are supported, and month-end close deadlines are met.
? Post and process invoices daily
? Resolve coding discrepancies and payment issues
? Prepare manual checks and maintain payment records
? Support Terminal Managers and department leaders
? Maintain approved vendor files and records
? Track and report AP statistics for weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting
? Prepare daily aging schedules for management reporting
? Maintain AP working papers for audits
? Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies
? Process weekly check runs every Thursday
? Run weekly and monthly reports
? Close the monthly Fuel Program and generate fuel reports
? Close the AP module within established deadlines
? Prepare month-end AP aging reports for banks, auditors, and leadership
? Assist with special projects and financial initiatives for the Controller
? Highly proficient data entry skills
? Strong understanding of how Accounts Payable impacts the General Ledger
? Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new systems
? Organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
? Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership
? Ability to work independently while supporting multiple departments
? Strong problem-solving and communication skills
